It was a great day...
The course was a bit shorter than normal because of a last minute venue change.... BUT still another well run event...
Thanks
Rich

First time I've been to one of the NCCC events, had a good time. I have some in car videos that I'll try to upload later.

The plant threw us a curve by tearing up our usual lot. Didn't find out until Fri late.
Lot we had to use was smaller , however, our guys set up a nice course given the limitations.
Believe all had a good time, know I did.
Next CCM X is Aug. 15, a Champ Event open to all comers.
Cheers!

Couple of vids from the event:

First session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BtxGujoot8

Second session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCZCzJGDAIc

My best raw time was my last run on the second session, it was a 24.9, too bad I hit a few cones along the way.

The video makes the course look a bit shorter than it really was. The 3.90 gears, street tires and 500whp made it a lil more difficult on a small course however still a great time.

Hopefully after they finish the work on the other lot they still allow you to keep running on it!

We certainly hope so. Though out of respect for the plant, and to maintain good relations, we don't plan to run on the new section of asphalt until next year (if they allow us). We can maybe use a smaller portion of the big lot if they don't repave the whole thing, or use the lots we used for course & paddock at this event for future courses using the connector crossover in the middle. That would make for some unique layouts.

Glad you had a good time even on the small course. It pales in comparison to the course I was going to set up, but this turned out to be challenging, if indeed very short.
