Default Z06 315/30 on CCW rubbing on duct? [pics]

Today I was in the process of swapping my auto-x tires on CCW's back to street tires when I noticed that they seem to hace rubbed on the brake cooling ducts.

I noticed this the first time today and assum it is happening now because I installed a PFADT camber kit and ran -3 degrees camber in the front. Before and without the kit (same wheels) I never noticed....

Has anyone seen this on his/her C6-Z?

I run 315s but am not running the camber kit. And they only touch when at hard lock. That is one of the reasons I have not installed the camber kit yet. Check to see if they are also hitting on the fender. A friend had them rub there also. And because I only run HPDEs I don't lock to lock as much as you would running Autocross's. JD

yep has happened on mine with 305 in the front but not really worried about it much, those tubes are cheap to replace if they would wear through. i only got them from autox i believe and dont do any autox any more really

Yup, it happens. Don't crank the wheel lock to lock, problem solved

Me too and some heavy duty duct tape over the worn holes from time to time and all is good....

Happened to me with the Hoosiers, no camber kit and stock bushings. I am now running Michelin slicks, a camber kit and spherical bearings and have no rubbing.

Yup

Brake ducts need to be replaced every so often too, just normal
