Caution !
I would like to see the fatigue testing (Grist Mill) data on the wheels that used these spacers.
I am concerned about the lack of support for the wheel between the bolt holes. Most wheels are designed and tested with a solid, uninterupted mounting surface.

The back of my BMW Mille Miglia wheels are shaped like that. It is not a round contact surface.
Here are some I found online

Please consider that those wheels that you show were designed and then tested in that configuration.
Other wheels are designed with a continuous mounting surface. The wheels that were designed with a continuous mounting surface would face unknown levels of increased stress with the use of an interrupted spacer.
Also, the spacer shown does not match the back of the wheels that you have shown. This also changes the stress levels in the wheels from what they were designed for.

Here is a pic of one of my Speedlines, you can see from the contact marks/oxidation/rust transfer from the rotor hat, the only surface that touches (the rotor hat) is an outer circle and an inner circle.
Nothing else touches the rotor hat upon installation. I can see where an old school spacer contacts both these circles 100%.
There is a taper on the last inner edge of the inner hub hole, so that's not touching.
That leaves the two circular surfaces each about 3/8 to 7/16 inch wide.
I see how the new spacer would work on Kubs BMW rims, not sure on the Vette rims.
Anyone else?

I returned those (no problem) and got the standard full circle spacers from Jegs for about $60.
Be careful what spacers you use & LOOK at the backside of the rim & where contact occurs.

timd,
Please read the WHOLE THREAD, you have no clue what I am posting about.
I buy & use lots of Pfadt products.
They work great.
This was the wrong spacer for the wheel.
Read. Look at the pics.

I used to agree with that statement, until I bought the full set of three spacers from Pfadt.
The half inch spacers wouldn't even fit over the hubs -- the plasma cut holes were all at an angle. You could hold the two spacers back to back and the holes wouldn't even line up!
So am I confident the wierd looking non-round spacers are OK? I certainly have my doubts about it now.
