I watched the Viper cup on "versus" today that event went 15 laps no, pit stops, it looked like a really cool event, but what I'd like to know is whether those guys have sponsors, if so how what does it take to acquire a sponsor and how does a sponsor in a spec series benefit.

NO to very few sponsors. They pay for it themselves.
a third of the NASCAR field does not have big sponsors.
How do you get a sponsor ? WIN races or Friends and Family business.
