Awful. The kleenspeed car (which won) killed it at 1:42.5.

That's because most of the T1 guys don't run at LS due to sound restrictions I guess (plus most of them seem to be from SoCal). I just did a 1:38.05 there in my C5Z, so I'm sure the T1 guys would be a second or two faster than that (at least), as SIK02SS just mentioned. Laguna Seca is a horsepower track, so low hp cars will suffer there more than at other more technical tracks. However, a 1:53 is not something I would brag about in any car...

I drove 6/10 and did a 1:47 that was with yellow and red flags throughout the session.

For perspective, in 2008 Jan Magnussen qualified the C6R at 1:19.291

Brian I ran 1:48, Susan ran 1: 44, and Terry won last years Historic Group 6 with 10 laps of 1:40 flat.........That said, the Can Am (Group 7) class winner only averaged about a second faster (1:39) so I guess you would say that A) Terry was really trying, and B) that most of the guys who drive Vintage Can Am cars don't "really" push them

The Skip Barber MX5 cars, on street tires, do around 1:50 and they don't have either the grip or the HP that most cars are running at LS.
