Default Boy, Do I have Problems Now!

You guys will get a kick out of this...

Some of you know that my wife and I have a daughter. She's not too bad looking, if I have to say so myself. Yes, I realize I am biased...

Well, she has this new young man calling on her. Nothing serious at all, but at her age every guy needs to be vetted a bit more.

Nice guy, good grades in high school as well as college (straight A's in both); I know the family.

Here's where things get "interesting..."

He shows up in a 2001....red...Ferrari 360. is my first reaction, then...

What's cool is that it is a coupe, not even a removable roof, and a gate-shifted 6-speed versus a paddle shifter. This kid is "old school!"

There's more to him that I won't say, because some of you will know who he is. Suffice to say there is a reason I know him and his family...

I told him he is upstaging me...at his age I was driving convertible Corvettes and thought my S**t didn't stink. But a Ferrari...

Just thought I'd share with ya'll...

I feel bad for dad's with daughters........

Seriously. Did he let you drive the Ferrari?
If not then he's outta here!

Tell him he has to prove himself and the Ferrari at Mid-Ohio this weekend before he can date your daughter. If hes worried he cant do it tell him I'll drive.

He's proven himself in this manner way before he showed up at my door. I won't say how, because if I did many of you would know who he is. Let's say that behind the wheel of a car he is very well qualified...

Tattoes? My daughter? Not likely, although one kid from her past, a college wrestler, did have soem body paint...no piercings though.

David,

There's no back seat in a Ferrari!

Reminds me of the commercial where the dad loans out the Viper to his daughters girlfriend rather than the mini-van!

Could definitely be worse

Sounds like he has some similar interests as well, which is never a bad thing.

Just curious, how old is this guy and/or your daughter? Im 22 and all I can afford is a C4 held together with duct tape, band aids, and red shop rags! How does this guy have a Ferrari?
