Will Leaded race fuel ruin O2 sensors?
Was told today that Torco Leaded 110 was $100 cheaper/drum, is better for the engine, will run better and 10 more octane than the Torco 100 Unleaded I normally run. I usually go through a drum+ every race weekend.
Any input on this?
Will the leaded fuel ruin the O2 sensors?
Is there such thing as lead safe O2 sensors for the Corvette?
Thanks guys for any advice!

Melting Slicks
The 02 sensors sold for the middle east market are setup to handle leaded fuel, they are 2-4 wire heated units

Leaded Race Fuel vs Stock O2 Sensors
Yes, leaded race fuel will coat a stock O2 sensor which can result in the engine managment system going into full rich. If your injectors have been replaced with a larger unit, it can result in washing down the cylinders and fuel can dilute the oil to the point were the bearings get hammered and the knocking sound gets loud. At least that's what the engine builder told us..............:o

Leaded gas ruins o2 sensors & catalytic converters. Leaded gas even ruins wideband sensors used in conjunction with dynos. If you have to use leaded gas, try mixing it with the highest grade pump gas to lower it's lead content.
