I have an 07 a6 that is holding up fine, added a cooler and change fluid each year.

I was very impressed to see a 600+ hp corvette with an a6 at the track maintaining a 200* trans temp after several hot laps. The owner said that it never overheated, but he had changed it out once for failure.

My a4 trans is impossible to keep cool, as I have taken extensive steps to do so. I am buying a manual vette soon for this reason.
