C5 with C6Z Brakes - upgrade master cylinder?
I have a C5 that I have added the C6Z brake package on. They feel good, but I am comparing to stock C5 brakes. Is it recommended to upgrade the brake master cylinder as well? Does the C6Z use a larger / more powerful master cylinder in order to drive those big calipers?
If so, will the C6Z master cylinder bolt right up? Or is there some other unit that is recommended?

the piston size determine the master cylinder...has nothing to do with the overall size of the caliper or rotor. You should not need a different master as far as I know, although you could double check to make sure C6 and C6Z's use the same master.
A stiffer/larger braking system should feel no better on the street under normal conditions unless you happen to have a more aggressive pad. You'll see the difference at the track where the C5 calipers would either overheat or deflect under extremem conditions.
