Default FS: C4 Functional Side Vents

Sold!

I made these using 95-96 Fenders. They have no damage, and no broken tabs. They were painted by me, so don't expect a show quality paint job.

$100 shipped for the pair.

The brown stuff inside the RH fender is epoxy. It didn't work to hold the screen in, so I went to rivets. They worked perfect. I built the RH before I built the LH.

Here is how they looked on the car:

What kind of results did you see from those?

Can't really say. I spent almost three years building the car, ran one autocross, and then parted the car out. I don't have time to race anymore, and can't tell you the last time I did it.

I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THESE FOREVER!!! I saw a picture of a matte black corvette with them, presumably the same person you sold them too but maybe not. Can you tell me how you made them?

I like these. I did something similar. I just cut out the edge of the louver and then used the screening.

I'm not sure it made any real difference but I like the look. I also like what the OP did here.

The holes in the top of the hood made a real difference in brake temps. Almost a 50-degree drop. Just make sure you do the wheel well lip at the same time.

I just carefully cut out the fenders with a Dremel. Then I cut out and riveted stainless mesh to the back side. The mesh came from one of the racer parts web sites. I don't remember which one.

Not too hard to make them, and you could do it using any year fender. I prefer the 95-96 fenders. Take your time making the cuts.
