FS: Toyo R888 295/18 and 335/18 combo
I have a set of four R888 tires for sale. It is a 295/18 and 335/18 combo.
The tires are almost brand new. Here's the deal... I bought these tires a couple of weeks ago completely fresh with full tread from my tire vendor. They were on the car for one day and have been heat cycled. After trying them out, I decided that I'd rather put the money towards more of a racing tire, so I immediately pulled them off the car. So, they're heat cycled with full tread for anyone who is interested.
Since they are technically used, I know I'm not going to get the $1,400 that I paid despite the fact that these are full tread, fresh tires. Will sell for $950 for the set. It's a smoking deal so I expect these to go quickly. First come, first serve. I only have one set.
I'm located in San Diego if anyone wants to pick them up. Price is firm. Buyer pays shipping.

Where? On the track? How? DE? How many sessions? Length of sessions? How many miles? Etc.
I think any potential buyer, including me, will want more specifics.

Good questions Andy, and I agree, they are completely appropriate.
I tried them out on the track (Chuckwalla Raceway) for two sessions last Saturday. I'm not used to full tread tires, and it was my first time at this track, so let's just say they were two very slow sessions as I got familiar with both the tires and the track. The length of the session was 20 minutes. The track is 2.7 miles. I did about 6 laps per session. So, there's less than 40 miles on the tires. Being a novice driver, there's no visible wear on the tires.
If anyone has any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

To all watching, I backed out of this as the shipping was a bit on the high side (just... DAMN!!) So the tires are still available. Good deal if you don't mind the gouging by UPS.
