These are lots of fun. Search YouTube for "Devens BSCC Autocross" and you can find lots of videos. You get 10-12 runs on a really long course with all the instructor help and ride-alongs you want.

I didn't know anything about how to drive a Corvette until I started running it at Devens. Best place to learn car control techniques before that first HPDE!

Awesome event, George. 43 cars, 13 runs, home and showered before 5pm. Course design was great -- very safe and very open. I had two high speed spins in the sweepers when the tires were cold and never left the runway or even DNF'd. 11 Corvettes attended with 13 people driving them. And the weather was warm enough that even the GrandAm scrubs I was running got enough heat build up to start to stick. Excuse generator: "I am saving my Hoosiers for the NHMS time trials with COMSCC next week."

That was a memorable event to recall all the good times over the years at Devens autocrossing with the Bay State Corvette Club after I move south.
