Default C5Z poly control arm bushings?

Looking at poly control arm bushings for my Z. Anyone used them? My long term goals are to do some track events. I don't care about harshness on the street. Summit has Energy Suspension and Prothane. The ES are almost double the Prothane prices. Are they that much better?

Car currently has 117k on it, so bushings are needed anyway.

Bah, that's the easy way out. Searched, answered, ordered.

Not sure what you ordered, but the two popular options are VB&P and Pfadt. I've had both and currently have the Pfadt kit in my car. It's a very nicely made setup and the car feels much better than with the OEM rubber. My car is a dedicated race car so no concerns about street manners.

Good thing you don't care about NVH...because you will have it.

Default Bushings

I was told by a Vette Brakes & Products spokesman that Prothane makes the bushings for VP&P and Energy Suspension.

That would surprise me a bit because VB&P have poured me custom bushings in the past, which would be tough if they had a third party making all their bushings...
