I don't know about the other brands, but this is what I can tell you about ours.

For the C5/C6 cars I keep the oil cooler in the radiator. This makes the cooling system more compact and also more efficient as it is a fluid/fluid cooling system. By doing so this transfers heat into and out of the fluids much quicker than a fluid to air system.

You might ask why put heat into it? Well on colder days this helps for a quicker oil temp warm up, and also it will keep the oil temps more stable as well when you are on track.

Now for the C6 Z06 cars, I can do a 'dual cooler' option on them by running the oil both through the radiator and the factory Z06 cooler. This allows the oil to heat up quicker on cold starts, and also increased capacity as well.

The other thing...this is not just an oil cooler...it is a larger radiator as well. So now you have increased cooling capacity on the engine as well as engine oil.

Let me know if you have any questions about this or any of our products.

Oil coolers should have nothing to do with the radiator, unless you're referring to operating temps then the radiator might help the oil cooler warm up the oil if it is a non thermostatic kit.

Again, the perfect kit would entail a large enough oil cooler with a thermostat (if you need one), mounted in the front with the highest amount of airflow possible. Personally I prefer setrab oil coolers but it's ultimately your decision.

I think you need more restriction on those intakes. What would that bad boy make unrestricted?

Honestly never ran the engine without them as all of the calibration was done with them to be in place.

I would say it would be around 700 without them there.....not bad for an NA 6.0L

I don't want to get into the old discussion about "seperate vs combination oil cooler/radiator." All I know is that the LG setup is what I use on my car and I have NEVER had problems with overheating since adding it.

Great product and a great group of people standing behind it.

You won't be disappointed.
