Really ... it's 3 days you know so that works out to $330 for a 2 day event. Trackdaze is $399.

What's really pricey are those "Big Brake Kits"

But I heard you still have to pay at the gate as well - and I don't think Friday is possible for me.

I went to the Cobra club event 2 years ago - great fun.

I wish I could afford a BBK too (and the wheels, tires and what not needed to go w/ it)
I'll type slow so ....

$495 / 3 = 165 * 2 = $330
TrackDaze = $399

Single day price for SVT = $225
Single day for TrackDaze = $255

Obviously SVT is not interested in you doing a 2 day event since they rented the track for 3.

SVT has NEVER charged anyone participating in an event to get into the track and actually has never charged anyone that I know of to get in. I doubt you "heard" that either.

They do have a nice car show, a banquette, an on-site Dyno and the Ford factory team there as well (maybe a minus on that though).

For the mere sum of $1 you can upgrade that old calculator ...

All that said, however, I am not going ...

Looks to be a lot of track time as the attendance is around 100.

Default Actual Event Costs

The event is actually a combination event between the SVT Club and
the Shelby American Auto Club. Car shows and a bunch of other things will also be going on at the same time. SAAC will be running a classic race for the old Shelbys. Here is a link to the site explaining costs --- http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=18154 SAAC has caused some changes in SVT's normal way of doing things. SAAC is trying to milk every dollar they can out of this event. THERE IS A GATE ENTRY FEE - $15.00 / day for everyone that comes in the gate, even if you are signed up to drive or race. Drive 3 days - pay $45.00 in addition to the $495.00 entry fee. Lodge rooms are $175.00 / day and you can only get one if you rent for all 3 days. Garage rooms can only be rented in combination with garage rental - three day only at $1200.00. Driving costs are not too bad since I camp. If I used the other services, I would have to skip the event - other costs are a major rip off !!!
