Default Harness Advice

I am mid way through the installation of my aftermarket seats and harness and my shop has run into a problem. I purchased the following:

Recaro Profi Seats

Sparco 8 point Harnesses
http://www.sparcousa.com/pharness_comp.asp?id=566

Vetteworks Hardbar Lap Belt Bar
http://www.vetteworksonline.com/cata...roducts_id=147

Harbar Seat Mounts
http://hardbarusa.com/hardbar/produc...products_id=45

Vetteworks Sharkbar Harness Bar
http://vetteworksonline.com/Corvette_C6bar.htm

Here's the issue. If you look at the way the ends of the lap harnesses are constructed, they have a metal loop which is well set up to attach to the loops on the Vetteworks Lap Belt Bar. However, Hardbar is telling me that the Lap Belt Bar setup is intended to be used with the stock seats. Since I have aftermarket seats and mounts, Hardbar is saying that I should not use the Lap Belt Bar and I should attach the lap harness directly to the seat mounts. I have no issue with this, but the problem is the harness ends are not set up to attach to the mounts. Instead of a metal loop type attachment, a bolt that threads through a looped and sewn harness end is what is recommended. Is there any available adapter kit for the existing harness setup or do I need to buy a new harness? Any other advice/feedback appreciated. Thanks.

Contact Sparco. You will need to fab a bit b/c you need to have the body of the mount in the same direction that the belt is going. Check the instructions on Schroth's website.

FYI, attaching the lap belts to the seat bracket mounts is incorrect and the belt will not work as designed. Have the shop weld in an 1/8" steel plate under the car in the location to get the desired sub belt angle. The use eye mount bolts and clip-in harness ends to attach the lap belts.
