Default A&A Corvette autocross video. 5/21-22/2011

Went down to Auto Club Speedway Saturday. Was a little frustrated with my driving/course. Seem like I couldn't put together a great lap. Just average ones with big mistakes. Tied for 2nd. overall out of 80 cars. On decreasing radius corners you have two choices in autocross. Run the tight line in the beginning of the corner to save distance, but give up speed at the exit. The other way is run a wide line all the way around and do a late apex with more speed on the exit. That would be a typical road race line. The problem with that is, more distance and possibly dirty out wide with no real straight away after the corner. I couldn't make up my mind. Here's the video. Tied 2nd. overall out of 80 cars.

Sunday I raced a friends 04 Z06 Corvette. The class we ran in was SK1. Stock car with street tires. Had a good run with not to many mistakes. 1st. in class. About 22nd. overall out of 145 cars.
