Default C4 wheels for autocrossing

I currently have two sets of wheels, my DD Y2K wheels, and a set of aftermarket, chrome flaking C5Z wheels that I use for autocrossing. My kumho 710s are roasted on the C5Z wheels, and I'm going to go back to a street tire class so I can drive to events and I want more seat time without supper sticky rubber. My DD tires need replacing as well, so I've been considering ditching the 17/18 combo. I love the look, but the extra expense for the 18's suck.

So, I'm looking at going to just the standard aftermarket C4 A-mold wheels (not worried about the extra weight). I'm trying to decide from the standard 17x9.5/17x11 combo or go all out 17x11 at all four. I love the look of four 17x11s, but will I run into issues at tight autocrosses, which my club is pretty much consisted of. I do have plans of an HPDE a year...but it seems like every year, I'm a year away.

If I go this route, I'd sell my DDs, give away the C5Z wheels, and just run the A-molds full time. I'd be able to afford tires twice a year over the current setup I'm running and really stretching out the tires to the end. Thanks!

I'd run 315/35/17 sumitomos.

With that tire you should ave no problems going 17x11 all around. It will look pretty cool too!

I have some real ones for sale, but maybe too nice for how you want to use them.

I ran 4 17x11 A Mold Wheels on my C5Z. They work fine. Make sure you get the GS offset and not the ZR1 offset. On tight turns like pulling into a garage or through a row of cars the inside of the rim will rub against the LCA and the inside wheel weight will get stripped off by the LCA. However, the car will corner very well with R compounds in 315/35/17 sizes.

Yep, I'll be getting the GS offset for sure. I've listed my Y2K wheels for sale to see if I can even unload them these days. Have the trigger cocked and ready to fire on a square set of 17x11s. Yeah, I'm ready to pull the trigger, but I've got to be good and wait till the time is right. Thanks for the feedback fellas.
