Just got back from testing Michelin Pilot Super Sports @ Auto Club Speedway in Cali
I just got back from testing Michelin Pilot Super Sports at the Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana California. Another 25th Hour Event presented by Michelin. This place hold 92,000+ people

I was forced to test last Tuesday, had to fly back Wed AM.
We used wet/dry brake area, higher speed autox and the interior track:

Just a quick update Klaus Graf & I put a hurting on the Michelin Super Sport vs. Continental Extreme Contact DW (voted best tire by Tire Rack consumers) on the 24th morning AutoX as shown below on stock tire sized BMW 328is. They are not a power house but heavy enough to show how well tires either work or don't work well on this longer autocross :
We drove both tires like this:
FYI, I checked the tire pressures.........Michelins do stay a very constant temp across the tire as the front pressures were 42psi hot for the PSS and 44-45psi hot for the Conti. Both were OEM cold pressures at 32 psi. Very aggressive surface Air temp (10am) was 57.9 °F 46.0 °F DP 65% Hum 30.04 in Baro Calm winds Overcast
