Default exhaust leak after headers?? or no?

This is my first American sports car... I'm sure it is all the same but after my kook's header and x-pipe install, I definitely noticed a huge difference in sound.... More raspy and hissing sound at the header and x-pipe area and the stock exhaust does scream a bit... however, I'm unsure what this is suppose to sound like properly so what I want to know is how I would know if the car has an exhaust leak. I rev and there is no difference in sound or tone when it comes down from rev. I know when I had my other cars, when you have an exhaust leak and you rev let it rev down, you hear a second tone of "farts" and rattle.

Any inputs?
