I was looking at a diagram and saw something about a sound deadening panel in the engine bay against the firewall/dash area (C6)

has anyone removed this or do they have pictures of this?

What does this have to do with autocross or road racing? You may get responses to your question by posting in he C6 general or tech section.

if I ask the question there ill end up with 10 replies that dont answer my question but question the reason why id want to do that to the car. this is the forum where people discuss lightening their cars more often than in those sections. Im sure someone here has the answer!
