Pocono SCCA T-1 Results..
It started as a beautiful weekend friday and saturday, but sunday the weather turned awful and it rained, and rained and rained some more.. That was after morning fog that reduced visibility sunday morning to zero.
T-1 had thirteen entries per race... Including a lot of new people who sampled it for the first time..
On saturday. JH was first, I was second and judy warren third.
Dave sanders should have been second but his engine expired. Tom Sloe should have been third, but had an undercar fire.. It was scary. A lot of othe cars either started and pulled out early or did not start due to various issues and strategies. GT-1 cars are a real problem for us since they are fast on the straights and slow in the corners... And they come up so quickly..
On Sunday, JH was the only one who waited around till 5PM for the race to start in pouring rain. He lapped the entire field of GT 1 cars in the wet. Did I say it was pouring rain????
Other than the rain it was a great weekend.
Thanks to all the friends who came out to run T-1 in its time of need and thank you to SCCA Tri region for working out all the details.

That is awesome Joe. What a great weekend, although I feel bad for Dave and Tom.
JH racing in the rain and lapping the field of GT1 cars... how cool is that!
I wish I was there.

it weren"t easy thats for sure. But the 10 year time limit is going away, so c5"s are good forever!!! With added enhancements, the C5 should be competetive for a long time.
