NEW - Quantum C6 Fog Light Brake Cooling Inlets
We are proud to finally introduce our fog light inlet kit.
Move your brake cooling inlet where it should be, in the high pressure front bumper area.
Our kit is designed to replace the standard C6 fog light our inlets bolt right up to the factory fog light mounting points. The kit installs utilizing factory mounting hardware.

Kit Features:
4" Diameter inlets for maximum flow.
TIG welded aluminum construction.
2 pieces of 4" I.D. flexible hose.

I think I am going to have to add these to my wish list for my brake cooling upgrade package. The air from the front with good ducing to the rotors sounds like some cool brakes to me!

Has any wind tunnel type testing been performed on if there is an advantage getting air from the front bumper vs the under the bumper inlet? I would assume you could put one of each on a car with a pressure gauge to determine which is better. Wind tunnel would be better but not in most peoples budget and I don't think work would like me bringing a race car to their tunnel. If I worked in the tunnel I might try it but I do like the money from my job....

There is a distinct advantage to moving the intake from the low pressure area under the bumper to the high pressure fog light area. Michelin verified this with their independent testing of our earlier version of these inlets, and we have seen good results using the system on our car.
The results showed peak rotor temperatures reduces by approximately 30%.

Here are the basic steps:
Remove the front inner fender liners
Remove and trim the Z06 inlets (so that the 4”hose can be attached)
Remove the fog lights and install our fog light inlets
Install the 4” hose and Z06 inlets
Trim the fender liner to clear the new position of the Z06 duct (the top edge of the existing opening needs to be opened up)
Re-install the fender liner
They reduced from OE ducting inlet location under the car, i.e. the low pressure area. The car tested was equipped with our spindle duct kit for both tests.

For those that place their order through the end of next week I will include free of charge aluminum wire mesh covers. Those that have placed their orders already will also receive the covers free of charge.

Can you give an estimate of cooling effect of a stock base C6 setup to your under the car (low pressure area) configuration? It would give everyone an idea of all options available and their effect on brake cooling. I just ordered the non foglight touring kit because I don't track much just yet.
Providing a baseline and all available options will help drivers determine their best option based on driving habits.
