Default Brown film on rear facia after a 4 track days

I have been tracking the car for a few years and typically do two good days then go home and clean the car, wait a few weeks, then track it again. This past week I got 4 good days in (instructor group) and noticed a brown haze covering the rear facia. While a little Purple Power (Castrol Super-Clean) the film came off.

I have about 20,000 track miles on the car and never saw this film before. Any idea if this typically is a precursor to failure?

Engine is stock and has a catch-can on it. Inside of the stock tail pipes are black, outsides are purple and blue; they have seen some heat.

Also, the inside of the tailpipes have always been black.

Are you looking for an excuse for an engine upgrade?

Yep, running with an Elite Engineering catch can...and it is catching.

The Brown tinge in of itself is not bothersome, just wondering if others have all of a sudden noticed the browning of the fascia that preceded a large expense to fix the rotating assembly. If this is normal for an aging LS6, then I am fine with the cleanup.

LS6s that are run hard on the track YES this is normal. Just like a sudden spike in HP as the engine loosens up.

right before the engine goes . . . . . . .

I have had this since fresh on my motor. I have one can and plan to add one on valve cover vent.
