Sorry Roy, you're a week early. If anything is going on right now it's testing. Here's the schedule: http://www.scca.com/var/assets_conte...e_v8_23_11.pdf

1st Qualifying session is Monday morning 10am central for T1

OOPs. I guess I am anxious to see how Oli does and for John Schertzer to get back and diagnose my engine problem so I can make the last race of the year.

thanks Chris

Thanks guys.

At Road America I got to spend about 40 minutes with John Heinricy after the track closed. We went around the track in one or Road America's training cars to talk about lines, braking points, gear selection, rain lines, etc. What an awesome opportunity it was for me to do that with one of the greatest and winningest drivers in SCCA history.

Awesome Oli! If/When the runoffs head more West I'd like to race them once before I hang up my driver's suit. Good Luck! See you in January.

I'll be watching . Wow, 4 days of qualifying? Why so many and how does it work? Best lap time or average over the 4 days? Qualifying races?

Good luck Oli! Sounds like a great opportunity to study the track with Heinricy.

Yup! 4 days this year.

Last year we had 3, monday, wed and thurs I believe it was. The best lap time out of 4 days is how it works.

Ain't JH cool?

Over the years I've gotten to know John fairly well, and he is really a great guy. Heck, he even talks with us Viper guys!

No disrespect to you or trying to burst your bubble, Oli, but don't feel too special. JH is the type of guy who would do that for almost anyone.
