Default Pace American bankrupt?

I guess I missed this, but they ceased operations and don't answer the phones any more.
So much for any warranty work now. I'm sure those will get axed.
I could kick myself in waiting to get parts to fix the P.O.S. ramp extension. Now I guess I'll do it right.

The trailer/RV/racing industries have been hit particularly hard and there has been no recovery for them yet (or in the forseeable future)/:\

I was just going to say Featherlite must be doing OK, the trailer I bought for $13k in 2006 now sells for $22k at the local dealer (msrp of course)

From what I have heard, Bravo trailers took all the top talent away also.

The Bravo trailers look like everything the Pace trailers were except they went w/ a different rear door latch. I hate those latches and prefer the Pace rotating latches better

I do like the rear latches. Only big complaint I have is the ramp extension hinges are total junk. Way too light. It ripped shortly after I got it. Pace sent me three hinges, every one wrong. My fault for waiting too get it replaced.

What year is your trailer?

Could always get some heavier duty piano hinge from McMaster-Carr.

Mitch and Jack bender lent us a race trailer to use in the early 90s, great family. Glad to see they started Bravo Trailers, as Pace was a great product, I can only imagine that Bravo will be that much better.

try some of their previous dealers or may be if you find who is buying what is left of the stock they had.

Better hurry though.

I'm sure it was plenty of 'make to order' from raw materials and minimal JIT inventory on purchased components.

nobody wants to stock anything.

Or call Bravo Trailers maybe? Say youre an old Pace customer and see if they might be able to source parts?

You could also try calling Tim Spears @ Superior Trailer. He has helped me in the past and they were/are a pretty large Pace dealer:
