Default first issue with the c5z

was at the track today thrashing the car pretty hard.....got a vibration that feels exactly like a warped/cracked rotor but its comming from the center of the car under the shifter...there then clutch is out or in...under power or coasting sounds like somethings hitting something..no vibration in the shifter it self.....
if i broke somthing you guys probibly broke this too....

Yeah, something is on the verge of completely failing. Drop the TT and check guibo's, etc. Hopefully the TT isn't cracked.
I have a 12mm prop shaft if you need it, and very low mileage guibos.

Hey Jim - I was referring to the rubber bushings that are used as flex joints on either end of the prop shaft.

Hey Ben,
I know what the bushings are, just never heard them referred to as "guibo".

That's cause they are not Bushings, that is a Guibo. My M3 also has one, it's a fiber reinforced rubber vibration and driveline shock isolator. Depending on age and use (replaced one on my M3 at 120K) they start to develop micro cracks and start falling apart shortly after.

"guibo" noun from the latin word guiboius meaning do hicky....located between the flux capasitor and the max flow valve
