Coupe/FRC/ZO6 etc.. - doesn't matter?
Do you have a preference on shocks, spring rates etc?
Will this be strictly an HPDE car or does it need to be race legal?

I can build one custom to your specs if you like.

Joe at Phoenix Performance has one FRC with fresh LS6 and new drivetrain, trans and oil coolers etc. Doesn't have the cage, seats etc yet but well on its way to being a killer track car. Been trying to get my brother-in-law to buy it. It's dirt cheap IMO for what's been done to it. He also has a C5 T1 car that John H drove in the regionals at Pocono. I've seen it and it's nicely set up and very affordable. And just finished building a goregeous Blue C6 GS T1 car with all the goodies including oil sump and Penske adjustables. Take a look at his website or give him a call.

Want to see what is available in a safe race legal car. Not interested in a project, I already have one.

Had the opportunity to get considerable seat time this year at Road America and a couple other tracks. Since August every instructor that has been on track with me has suggested it is time for a cage etc.

I have been cutting my teeth in an 04 CTSV as my wife will not allow me to touch her C6 vert. (smart women)

The CTSV has served me well with minor suspension, cooling, and brake upgrades. My sedan can still be used as a daily driver for someone else.

Initially a former ASA stock car converted for road course application seemed to be the best value for the buck for HPDE only. Unfortunately, I have a desire to go WTW racing.

Thanks for the offer to build, but three very nice cars have surfaced just this weekend.

Johnny,

I think Scott baize is selling his C5 kit car. I think he has only autocrossed with it but it should do fine on the track. I don't know about coolers on it.

Thank you to all the guys and gals that have responded. You offered more than just your cars, thanks for the boost up the learning curve.

Looking to purchase a SCCA class legal and competitve race car.
Prefer more than a T1 car.

Hey Bill, good luck in your search. Decided to take it to the next level eh? Hopefully we all get together again this year at Road America and maybe you will have your new track ride!

I hear $100K gets Bob Mayers STO Vette.............at least thats what he told me to write the check for.

'Prefer more than a T1 car'..........in SCCA that leaves GT1 and STO if you are looking for a Vette.

Yup, they tell me it would take that much to build one today. There are a lot of cars available, with the majority being NASA compliant.

Appears SCCA offers more local opportunitys (4 to 8hr drives).
