Default what underdrive pulley you guys run?

i got a nice new powerbond 15% about 2 years ago...still in the box though. I heard to many horror stories about how they are not as balanced as a stocker and are known causes for timing chain breaks. Was wondering what your guys opinion was and what you run

thanks

I put a March set on years ago and have recently went back to a smaller water pump pulley to speed it back up. Hopefully that will bring the coolant temps down some.

When I did my build 3 yrs ago, the underdrive seemed like the common denominator in the timing chain breaks for LS2. It seemed like too much risk for few more hp. But honestly, I haven't heard that much about it in the C6 Tech section anymore. Not sure if everyone has gone to the upgraded chain or what. I did the Issis timing chain. Good luck with it.

I'm selling a brand new Fluidampr...

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-p...ing-cover.html

It has a 10% underdrive and it will balance just as good as an ATI.

Some info here: http://www.fluidampr.com/FACTS.htm

ATI. I previously had an 'off - brand' that separated on me. I had to chase one down at ATI 'headquarters' by talking to a member of the owner family. He is not really good with people or just doesn't like his job. Will never buy another ATI if another company makes one comparable. But as far as the product, it is good.

ATI developed their damper with GM racing's help, getting the correct rubber to keep the engine happy. I wouldn't consider anything else personally

ATI 10% underdrive w/o any AC provision. Steel hub, aluminum serpentine damper. They make an all aluminum one and one with the AC pulley. ATI is now making a 25% underdrive version, but I've always stuck with the 10%.
