I was in Graingers and there was a display for locktite's threadlocker tape. I picked up a free sample and was wondering if anyone has used it yet, specifically on brake bolts?

I got a free sample at some vintage races where they had a booth. Haven't used it yet, but I spoke with one of the reps & he says it works exactly the same as the liquid & the paste (tube). Just "neater".

I like the tube (like a chapstick tube) to control how much I apply to a fastener. With the tape it's the full deal 360 deg around.

Bought an ls3, but after reading about all of the "blow-ups", I'm just going to have the 402 rebuilt and sell the ls3.
