FS: 2002 Corvette Z06 “Track Car”
As everybody in this forum knows, I’ve debated back and forth long enough about this. I am in the process of closing a deal on a Toy Hauler for my Sand Rail and am just going to stick to the dunes for awhile. I am going to sell my Z06. You can search for posts by my username for most of the history of this car, and you can review this tread for people’s opinions about the value of the car. I prefer to be entirely up-front and direct in dealing with buying/selling on the forums so feel free to ask me anything. I will also be selling my race trailer for those interested. I’d make a package deal for those interested as well.
2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
PRC 265cc LS7 heads, went for the Ti/stainless intake/exhaust valves and the PRC spring kit that allows up to .675 lift. Almost 390cfm on these things in the range I'm using (over 390 @ .700 but I'm only going .670 on lift).
Lift LS7 Intake LS7 Exhaust PRC Intake PRC Exhaust
.200 161 114 169 119
.300 227 171 248 179
.400 291 193 308 211
.500 330 203 351 224
.600 351 209 383 235
.650 353 204 388 241
.700 353 209 393 246
NOTE: Numbers are just vinyl
I'm sure I have a ton more pics of it around, and could dig them up for anybody really interested. The car has had one off-track experience. I went 4 wheels off a THill and did not impact anything solid, just the mud berm going off to the right after 9. It bent the bolt-in piece under the radiator which was replaced with a GM part and tore the front fascia plastic a bit. It is all back together and looks great from 5' but it's not a show car.
Price for car, 4 sets of C5Z wheels, all spares etc. with motor: $35k (plus any shipping costs or other fees)
Price for car, 4 sets of C5Z wheels, all spares etc. but without longblock from pan to intake, tb, dry sump pump, dry sump pump to pan lines, and clutch and a few other minor things: $25k (note: this does include the dry sump tank, the remote oil filter block, all lines that are integrated into the car etc).
Keep in mind either way this includes the brand new fire suppression system, seats, harnesses, nets etc. It also includes (if I can find it) a intercom system and headsets that mount in your helmets for driver and passenger (i.e. so you can hear an instructor). I have a spare decklid too if you want to experiment with wings… otherwise I’ll keep it as wall art for the garage.

Sorry, I would not. The whole reason behind separating the motor from the car is for me to keep it for a Sand Rail (I'm reducing to one hobby for now... which is the reason behind the sale in the first place).
Thanks anyway,

It's quite an amazing machine. I got a few rides in it before it was finalized, and have been around the car for about 5 years now.

Good luck w/ the C4 sale, maybe it'll work out for both of us!
Thanks! I don't even care to think about how much $ is in this car... but let's just say it's several times what I'm asking for it. Of course, that's the game we play. Hopefully somebody can take advantage of this screaming deal and this car will get on the track the way it deserves!
Somebody needs to buy themselves a Christmas gift!

thinking about this instead of caging mine, I have a real similar build that still needs a cage and safety

Thanks. It has very few track miles, and basically none in this configuration. Somebody is going to get a heck of a deal!
