Default Saturday's Track Outing

Thought I'd post up a couple of vids to break up the Monday doldrums. Went out to the track this Saturday with the new GoPro. Still playing with the settings, positioning and editing. If anyone has suggestions for the taping part, those are welcome.

Car is an 02 Z06 stripped and caged. Engine and suspension are bone stock. Brembo BBK, 18x10.5 Interlagos all around running Hanook RS3s. First real session on the Hanooks and boy are they a lot grippier than the Falken Azenis I was running. These babies don't talk to you too much and it seems, much like R compounds, they don't warn you before they let go...as you will see once here and as happened once earlier in the day.

Did 3 sessions. First with the wife at the track for the first time. Spun out, she didn't like it, went in after 10 minutes. Said it wasn't for her. Second session shown here, third session not taped because I pushed the record button twice.

First half of the sessions

Second half of the session

Keep in mind I've been doing this 6 months and still have a lot to learn and much room for improvement. Helpful comments are welcome, anything else should just move along to the next thread.

It must be tough up north having to mothball the car for 6 months at a time.

But it's like getting a new car every spring.
