I just looked at the schedule for the 2012 GrandAm series and there is no scheduled Rolex race at VIR this year. What's up with that!

The rumor is that VIR will get an AMLS race September 15-16.
ALMS: WEC date clash with Petit Le Mans avoided, series likely to add VIR to schedule
Meanwhile, sources indicate that an ALMS race at Virginia International Raceway appears set to take place on Sept. 15-16. The series earlier said that it planned to add a spring and fall race to its 2012 schedule. There is no word as of yet regarding when the ALMS will confirm the VIR event, or what venue might host the new spring race.
