I was wondering if anyone had done this on their c5 or c6 and what it entailed.

My interest in this mod comes from ideas being thrown around in the halltech ultraleggra / katech builds.

If this is a no to low cost mod, it would be a great way to remove a few lbs off the front of the car while still maintaining the functionality of having a wiper system.


Any information that can be provided is most appreciated!

Unless you're doing a gutted trackday car there's no point in doing this. I've removed the passenger side wiper arm on my car, but it's a race car. You're talking a pound or two max.

Call me a fan of the fix it until it breaks mindset.
Boredom and the fact that its free weight removal make it an attractive mod to do.

So howd you go about making the single wiper work for the entire windshield? Would you happen to have pictures of the setup?
