NASA Road Atlanta - March 9-11: who's going?
Hey guys,
I've signed up for the March 9-11 NASA event at Road Atlanta. I am going to be shaking out my new car so I have entered both ST1 and TTU.
So...who is going to be there? It's not too earlier to plan, as that weekend is only about 6 weeks away.

Hey David, why not leave your car here and come back for the Double National the next weekend. I'll be there as well as Mayer, probably Onks and maybe even Ingle.

I'll be in Mexicalli, Mexico that weekend for work
Good news is I will make it to Roebling in April!
And the engine should be done, in the car, dyno'd and annual inspection completed before then.

That thing goes through engines almost as bad as an Evo.
What are you going with this time?

If the 383 block doesn't need a bore to 0.040 over it will be 383.
Since it just threw a lifter into the cam sprocket I don't think I have any bottom end issues. Just clean it up, new bearings, new cam, new lifters, new push rods, rebuild a set of heads I have and it should be back together by the end of Feb. Taking the bare block to the machine shop to have it cleaned and checked. Then I'll redo the checking.
Oh yea - road race oil pan!
I'm going to try and stay under 350rwhp, if it winds up a lot more I guess it will be TTS instead of TTA.

Local machine shop doing the cleaning. I'm doing the engine assy and BJ is swapping engines. I hope to have a seat or two for him to install as well

I stopped committing after I missing almost 2 full seasons, right now there is literally an entire car that needs to be assembled, only the doors are still mounted.
