Default anyone alive at ACP?

Sent an email and called a few times about getting a splitter. No answer or email back. Is it usually hard to get ahold of them or get thier products?

I got the same results. Take a look at black dog racing website. It looks like they have the same stuff and they answer the phone.

eh, they are WAY over priced. ACP has that add on splitter that covers half the front bumper. BD just has a 2300$ bumper :-/

Try from 9-4 Eastern time M-F, I never have had a problem reaching Kerry or his receptionist.

I am still waiting for a call back from a year ago. I have called multiple times between January thru March 2011. I talked to his secretary all the time and Kerry once maybe twice. It took my customer with more time on his hand then me to get a hold of the guy. I would use blackdog if you can see your way toward spending more money.

I had the same experience a year or so ago. For some reason I kept thinking of "Weekend at Bernie's".

Although I hear he's a real nice guy. Then again, Bernie was pretty cool too.

Since Kerry has a post on the Z06 area where he provided his cell#,
it's 717-574-3596.
I run his aero parts on both my C5 and C6 Z06's.
His parts were aero tested in the GM wind tunnel.

not just a $2300 bumper. It is 1 piece carbon fiber that is strong enough not to deflect under load, also has a built in splitter with under tray.

From the research I have done (I may be wrong), but the C5 front end has a tendency of deforming under load.

I was also under the impression that the ACP splitter was purely for looks.

I was looking at a few options, like the 2F Performance C5.5 front end and put a C6 ZR1 splitter on it. Between the bumper, side lights, splitter, reinforcement, and other misc stuff I would need I would end up adding weight and only saving about $500 by going that route instead of the blackdog perf cf 1 piece. One of these days I am going to call them to see if they offer any other carbon fiber C5 body parts. Even though my car will only see occasional track time and will be my DD, I would like the final weight to be no more than 3100lbs. Oh, I should mention I am turning my '00 into my own vision of what the C5R should look like.

VGLNTE1,
Sorry you're having problems getting in touch with us. I posted my personal cell phone # for the forum members a couple of weeks ago with hopes of better communicating with all of you.
From time to time the email link on the website does not function properly. My direct email address is kerryhitt@acproducts.us

I know I have been out of the office quite a bit over the last year. I apologize for not always being available for technical information, however, Winnie, our office manager, Chris, Travis and the rest of the staff at ACP have been building parts and filling orders.

Please feel free to call me on my cell phone, I only ask that you call between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm eastern time to ask any technical questions you might have. The number is 717-574-3596.

For those of you who don't know me, I am approaching 50 years of experience in racing and it has been 99.99% Corvettes. I will always answer your questions as completely and honestly as I can. If I don’t know the answer I will get the correct one for you.

I thank all of the loyal customers who have used our bodywork and want everyone to know that we are constantly striving to build new, better and lighter weight parts for your performance oriented Corvette’s.
