Default uhg...my drivers seat moves when driving!

ive looked around here and all ive seen so far is a guy that got creative with a chain, and some other who welded their seats in place!!

theres gotta be a better way to keep my seat from moving (feels like an inch) under hard braking/accelerating/turning.... right???

I feel the same thing too, I've always wondered if I was the only one. If anyone knows how to resolve this please let us know!

Get a proper racing seat with a seat back brace. Seat won't move at all. You can shake the seat and the entire car will shake.

It's a known issue with C5s. Search the forum or Google for "C5 rocking seat fix". Here's one how-to: http://robbs.js-x.com/page/ken_vet1.html

I'd find another class to run in if they don't allow safety upgrades. How frickin stupid is that!?

It's a known issue as stated. I solved it with a towel wedged between the seat and the cabin. Works perfectly until I put in my race seats.

Is it the power seat that causes the issue? I know the sparco sport seats in my Z28 move forward/backward when driving. I bought them from a friend and they were modded to fit a factory power slider. I was gonna just make a bracket to bolt it in and ditch the power slider. Is that legal in your class? Or maybe you could drill a hole thru the track and run a bolt or pin in there to secure it? Kind of a shade tree solution, but might work, haha!
