Year of car?? There are variations in the torque values for the caliper abutment brackets based on the year. The C4's have two values based on the year.

c5z i know is 125 and a tab of red locktie

it can be a pita to fit the tq wrench in there if the car is just barley jacked up. I had no leverage!!! On a lift it would be super easy.

Default You get what you get

Finally done and washed up! Your right about the access. Depending on what wheel you're working on, it is difficult to get a long torque wrench into a position where you can push hard. It's pretty deep into the well. I used blue locktite and got about 110 ftlbs on them. I'm not 25 anymore and thats all I could push w/o tearing something. 110 ftlbs is a pretty tight though.
Thanks for the help guys.

BTW, I installed Centric Premium high carbon blank (no slots or holes) rotors and Carbotec XP10/XP8 pads.

You can pop the tie rod loose to get better access to that bolt.

I dont use locktight and just hit it with the wrench. Maybe you have the feel for the steel too. Ive never tq'd lug nuts either
