Default Ecklers C5 front bumper

I’m looking on the Eckler’s website and see their C5 front bumper with part number 44014 for $480. But they also have another front bumper part number 44015 for $360. In the pictures they look the same to me. Anyone know what the differences are if any? If 44015 is the one with the extended splitter like I’ve seen a few others pick up here lately, then I may get one as well.

I thought that stuff you bought had a nose and splitter included?

But, yes, 44014 is just the front bumper ($480). That is what you need.

44015 (an additional $360) is the 2" splitter that attaches to 44014, and I don't think you want that unless you're going to fabricate something to extend it out.

The ACP splitter is 4" and only costs ~$140 and will mate right up to the 44014, and is a lot cheaper. (It's the same one Dennis and I have, along with a lot of other guys.). The ACP splitter doesn't require any additional attachment to extend it out.

Ecklers has 15% off sales all the time, so wait until they offer one of these sales and you can save a lot of money on the nose (front bumper).

Thanks Jody... I was just looking at these to maybe have as a backup in case I ever bend up the nose I have now.

Yea, I was thinking about the same thing. Buying an extra nose when they have a sale just to have one on hand.

The splitter is the thing that is the most vulnerable, though. If you have to replace the splitter you have now, you might think about the ACP one. It's cheaper, bigger and fits up perfectly with the Eckler's nose. JMHO.
