Quick question as above: I don't run a diff or trans cooler, don't get any overtemp messages on the trans using Amsoil. I was going to change the Amsoil ATF in the manual trans but then I only have 1 yr/ 3 events on it.

Am I crazy to change it after 3 events? Is this a waste?

Probably a waste, but I'm pretty conservative on this as well. I change my tranny and diff fluid at about 4 race intervals, which for my past several seasons has been annually. Changing it before my first race on Apr 21-22 and I only did four races last year.

I don't run a cooler and change my tranny fluid with M-1 synthetic annually. I usually run ten events a year with 6-8 30 minute sessions a weekend. No problems so far ---. It would be a waste to change now, get at least another 3-4 events on it before you do.

When I changed the trans/diff fluid before the February VIR event the trans fluid still looked new. The diff fluid was nasty. I'll probably change the diff fluid 2x a year now.

Yearly, I like to get the sparkles out & it shifts sooooo nice for a couple of thousand miles.
