Default GT Racing Tires is ready for summer

Are you ready for summer? At GT Racing Tires we are. Most tires are $100.00 each plus actual shipping.

Call Todd at 414-350-6303 or Greg at 414-640-7218

Most tires have only one heat cycle with 75% or better rubber remaining.

If we won't run a tire on our cars we won't sell it!

Hey Todd, I got the Conti's all mounted up.. thanks. Question for you on these... What pressures are good starting points in cooler weather (60 degrees) What cars did these come off of?

Also, do you know what run better in cooler weather, these Conti's or the Grand Am Pirelli slicks I got from you? I'm trying to decide what I want to run at the Glen end of April, and I think it might be cool.

Starting pressure points depend on the weather. We found that 28-30 hot is ideal. If it's cold run the Conti's. The Pirelli's will be a challenge to get heat in if it's below 55. Depending on what you bought they likely came off a GT car.

Default tire for C6 Z

Do you have any pilot sport equivalents in stock 2007 c6 Z06 sizes - 18" front, 19'Rear? tires like Nitto Ra1, Michelen pilots, toyo RA1's etc. Looking for a street tire that may see occasional track duty - or if it rains and i cannot run my Hoosiers I and run my street tires.

let me know

Sorry the only tires we have in 19" are the Continental slicks.

I'll post here, if you want you can respond via email at sebdavid at hotmail dot com or directly here, could be useful to others:

I'll soon be running stock C5Z 18" rear wheels at all corners on my C5Z. I'm looking for tires that would fit that arrangement, ideally 295 in front and 305 in the back. What do you suggest? I don't seem to find a suitable match in your above list...

I'm running HPDEs as an instructor, looking for inexpensive durable tires mainly. If they'll give me good grip that's great too! I'll be using street tires on the stock 17" all around when it rains and to get to the track.

Thanks for the help!

my $0.02 ... you can use the 295 Michelins or the 305/35 R888's on all 4.

Thanks for your input.

The 295 Michelins would work, but I'd like to go as wide as possible in the back. Also, not clear if those are Power Sport Cup (R compound) or some other Power Sport model (street tires).

305 may be too wide in front with brake ducts, I've never actually tried anything wider than 275, 295 seems like a conservative first-time try, that's why I was going for that size.

Seb, I have a few sets of track wheels and the one set of 10.5 x18 I ran a square set of 300/18's and right now they have a 305 square set up with the Pirelli race slicks. My other set is the Conti slicks with 305s in the rear and 285s in the front. I haven't had any issues so far with any of my set ups except at full lock. I have -2degrees of camber up front, coil overs and have brake ducts

Good to know, thanks for the input.

Before actually buying tires, I'll try to put my other Falken Azenis 315s on the 18" in front, see if I have an issue with rubbing anywhere. If I do, then I'll stay away from anything above 295 as the Falken are not particularly wide tires.
