Default Autocross Tire Size Help!

Im going to be ordering either Hoosier A6 or Kumho V710 autocross tires for the upcoming season. Need some help on tire sizes and any opinion on the two brands. Ill be running a 2003 z06 with stock rims,
17x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in the back. For the Kumho i was thinking 275/40 for the front and 315/35 or 305/30 for the rear. For the Hoosier 275/40 for the front and 295/30 or 295/40 for the rear. Hoosier also has a 315/30 but their tire guide asks a minimum 11" wide rim.

+2 on that.

If you go haven't upgraded your front bar on the car, the 275s will work better. If you HAVE the bigger bar, the 295 will work great. My car with a big bar doesn't like the 275 up front. Can't speak of the Khumos, but the Hoosiers work great and with good camber they last allot longer than you think.

Pfadt and Vette Brakes & products both have very good guidlines. Search on those.

It all depends on how much street driving you're going to be doing and how far between your place and the events.
Mine spent most of the year on a trailer, so I went full tilt on mine based on recommendations.
This year it will be more civil to save tires on the street since I'm driving it there.
