Default Ran my car at an SCCA autocross yesterday.

Ran my car at an SCCA autocross yesterday. 1st time since it was all done. Car felt real good. Now I just have to remember how to drive it

Still can't believe I passed sound tech.
Guy on sound said he could hear it when the boost kicked in

Pics w/o the duct tape

That's great to hear, Brian. You've been tinkering with this car for some time now.

Need some video so we can hear just how loud it is

Now the car could REALLY use some flares.

Glad to read that you are on track with it.

Brian, don't use duct tape, it may actually pull some paint off. Get some cheap blue painter's tape. You'll never have a problem with either the paint or the adhesive sticking to your car. They now make it in different colors too.

Have fun!

Default Welcome back!

Great to see you finally out having fun after all the, has it been years of, work.

Sound tech at an airport event. Gee, I'm getting old..................

My '69 is on jack stands now and is likely to be so for at least two more years. Last one took 8 years, so I'm getting better.:o

Brian,

This is Chris.

Thanks so much for letting me take your car for a ride. Tons of power, great suspension setup. I run wide tires, but yours are over the top at 335s at all 4 corners.

Just get yourself a new seat and a harness that isnt a ball crusher, and you will be fine. Try an even with the door bar out also, see if the ergonomics are better.

Maybe some better pads also, as even though you have the power of a Z06, it doesnt quite stop like one. What kind of pads are in it?

Thanks guys.

I need to let you drive it again with a data logger.
You a great driver, love to see what you doing that I'm not

I threw the original pads (bricks) in it.
I didn't want to get another set of pads since I bought a let of 6pot Wilwoods for it.

I put those in as soon as I get a weekend that I'm not autocrossing.

Ken, next time you out you need to take it for another swing.
People love the video Mark took of you driving it before all the mods

Chris, wish I wasn't working corner, would have love to taken a video that day!
