mocal oil thermostat and stock c6 z06 oil cooler
Does anyone run the mocal LS oil thermostat in combination with the stock c6 z06 oil cooler? I searched for a while and haven't found anything definitive.
I'm going with the larger oil tank in my mostly street driven, occasional HPDE, 2006 z06. I'd like to throw in the oil thermostat so that the system gets up to temp faster for day to day driving. I'll probably top out at ~10 HPDE days per year, and maybe 355 days of street driving
It appears that the Mocal LS thermostat has AN fittings ... so I'd need to do some adaptation? Or am I silly for considering keeping the stock oil cooler, and should just go aftermarket straight away?
