Default WTB Replacement Hoses for Quantum Cooling Kit

I need two replacement hoses for the Quantum Cooling Kit for my C6ZO6. For whatever reasons, Quantum/Lambert is not returning e-mails or phone calls and are not answering the phones. Web site is up but I don't see where I can place an order for just the high temp hoses.

Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement? I'm running out of time.

I've ordered some from here a few years ago, Aircraft Spruce:

Think I went for the SCEET hose. I'm not sure if they have good prices or not.

Do a Google for brake duct and then choose the 600 degree red hose from the lowest cost supplier. The stuff is not inexpensive and usually comes in 10 ft lengths although you can find shorter lengths from some suppliers. I got 11 ft here: http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/p..._Temp_Ducting2

If I remember correctly it was 3" ID and about 2-1/2 ft long, right. My Z is still in the shop.
Thanks,
Jim

I've used the SCAT and SCEET from Aircraft Spruce and it's good stuff. They do take a beating, especially if you're running wide front tires. You want 3.5" dia.

Are you sure of the 3.5" ID for the Quantum Cooling kit for a C6Z? That sounds too big. I was thinking that 3" might be too large....
Thanks,
Jim

I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were talking C6Z. I used 3.5" on my C5Z with the DRM duct and Quantum spindle duct. I'm not sure about the C6.

Yup, yours is a completely different configuration. I'm pretty sure mine's a 3" but this stuff is pretty expensive and I have no time to spare to order the wrong size. Problem is I'm out of town until next week and events are coming up!
Thanks for your input!

Just measured mine (C6-z) and it's 3 inches. It came from "Racers Wholesale". Free shipping for orders over $100 and my experience with them has been really good.
If I recall correctly, about 65 bucks for a 12 ft. length of the orangey hi-temp silicone stuff. You only need max. 4 ft for both sides so 12 feet is gonna last awhile.

The SCEET hose from Spruce is a little too stiff for use with the Quantum cooling kit on the C6Z. I've got three wire ties on each side holding the hose to the UCA and it still wants to rub. The problem is the angle of the inlet for the Quantum backing plate. If that angle were a little closer to 90* it would be better.
The hose that came with the Quantum Cooling Kit was much more flexible and was not an issue.
