I don't believe that anyone is making a ring and pinion gear set to fit the C6 Z06 or ZR1 differential.

Would the 3.91 gears from the NEW Camaro 1LE work in the Z06 C6?

Tom,

Be careful.

The 3.90 and 4.10 differentials that Rockland Standard is offering for 2006 through 2008 C6 Z06s are made with the small ring and pinion. They do not use the larger ring and pinion that Getrag builds the C6 Z06s and ZR1s with.

there is not manufacture of the gear right now. We had it quoted about 5 or 6 years ago and they are just too expensive to build and not enough poeple are going to go to those ratios to make the investment in just the tooling pay off.

Anyone know how much the 3:90? With the extreme long gearing of the Z06, I could see the 3:90 working well at the track and being a good mod for those not wanting to crack open the motor. You would lose 0-60 in first gear, but who cares.

Rockland Standard quoted me approximately $3,000 for their small ring and pinion 3.90:1 differential.

Patience, next spring may bring exciting news for all C6 Z06 and ZR1 differential owners. Stay tuned.

I have already several times in Model 2009/2010/2011 and 2012, the installed 3.7 and also the 4:11 differential.

I myself drive the ZR1 transmission with 4.1 differential.
6 at maximum speed in about 300Kmh

For the best track

6th gear at a maximum speed of about 300 kph.

It's best for the track.

Frei,

Who installed your 4.10:1 ring and pinion?
