Well this year's One Lap of America is only 2 weeks away!! I figured we should have an official thread going for it

I will be entering. Who else on this forum is entering?

There should be some good competition this year...

The track list looks like fun...

It would also be awesome to have a Corvette Support Network with city/states and some phone numbers to call for Corvette people in dire need of help fixing something or finding a last minute part along the race. Anyone interested in providing contact information for fellow Corvette competitors?

I ran the One Lap in 2007 in my 96 LT4 CE. Great experience. I'd love to do it again in the GS. Be careful at Hallett. If you haven't run there it is more challenging than it looks.

If this is your first One Lap, I recommend focusing on finishing rather than points. Have fun and be safe.

I'm planning to go to Tire Rack both weekends they are there. I am closing on a house next Tuesday that is only 10min from there (i live 25min from there now). I will try and drive my Yellow 76 vette with a big #3 on the side. I will be rooting on every vette there!! Keep the shiny side up!!!

If anybody needs room to store a trailer or other stuff during the week, I can offer up space in my yard. Or if you need a place to work on the car, i have a 2 stall garage and I should have my tools moved in by that weekend. My new house is right on US20 between South Bend and New Carlisle. PM me if you would like details or phone number.

If anybody needs any decals for their car, I can make them up and had deliver them Saturday morning. I don't know how to do anything real elaborate, but any simple text or numbers i can do. I can do that text in any windows font you want. Or if somebody already has a vector file image they can send to me, i can cut it and deliver it. I have many colors to choose from. Prices are very reasonable.

I just want to see a Corvette place in the top 5! With the amount of GTR's competing it's seems like they will go 1,2,3 Overall........everyone says GTR this GTR that......but it sure seems like they live up to the hype and OLOA should prove that once again.

I was turning into my parents driveway tonight and saw the Honda Odyssey going north on a trailer.

I will be there watching Saturday, but not driving my vette to the event as I had originally planned. I need to get tires on my camaro so i am planning on having them changed while watching the wet skid pad event. If they are done in time, I will also head over to South Bend Motor Speedway and watch the oval event.
