Default Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial used in rear for autocrossing?

Sounds crazy, but it seems that no matter what I can not keep my rear end hooked up. Anyone ever tried runing a drag radial like the Nitto 305/45/18 on the rear?

The side wall of the Drag radial is not strong enough for corning. Have you try the NTR2 that is designed for hard cornering, very strong side wall.

The Nt555RII is a D.O.T.-compliant road race competition radial designed with the muscle car racer in mind. Using the same computer-designed tread pattern as the NT555R, the Nt555RII has been thoroughly updated to handle the task of road racing. Construction modifications were made to enhance cornering feedback, controllability and stability. The tire comes molded at 6/32nd of an inch.

How much power are you making and what tires are you currently running? I make over 500hp and 500 tq and currently have 315 toyo TQ drag radials. They are great in a straight line but are terrible in corners obviously. I'm thinking about trying a 295 nt05 but I'm thinking I may end up having the same problem as you.
