Default trailering my C5 anyone got pics?

Anyone got pics of how they strap down their C5 for transport? Can I hook straps into the jacking slots under the frame?

Yes, here's a picture. Get them at Northern Tool.

That's awesome, thanks. I was thinking I'd run a crossed chain on the rears, then ratchet the front up until the chain is tight?

I did that for about 15 years. I had two chains fastened to D Rings in the trailer floor about 2 ft apart. The T Hooks were permanently fastened to them. I had a spot marked on the trailer and I would just drive forward until the car was on the mark, then get out and reach under the car to grab the T Hooks and slide them into the shipping slots. Then I would use ratchet straps or the car to pull the car against the chains tightly. The straps were fastened at a central point near the trailer tongue and kept the car from backing off the trailer while the chains kept it from going forward. The WL of the chains was twice the WL of the straps and one could hold the car. If the car wasn't on the trailer straight one or the other chains could have some slack in it.

I ran into the slack chain problem, too. I went to rachets on all four corners with the frame hooks. Can't imagine a better way.

I use the T-hooks posted by Falcon on the ends of heavy duty chains on the front of the car. The other end has an eye-hook (with spring gate). If I have any slack in one of the chains, I twist the chain a turn or two and that takes up the slack before clipping it into the D-ring on the trailer. Then roll the car back and use ratchet straps with t-hooks at the rear to pull it tight. Each chain on the front can support more than the entire weight of the car. I use a winch to get the car on the trailer, which makes getting it centered a bit easier.
