Spirit of Daytona at Watkins Glen
As we were packing up to leave the Watkins Glen Chin event on Tuesday the Spirit of Daytona team rolled in for some testing. Caught a few pictures of the car up close and personal. Thought some might enjoy the shots.

Dan: I actually attended the press conference when this car was unveiled. Thought you might like to read about it.

That thing is sweet. I stop by their shop often. That whole crew is just a dang nice bunch.

I'll second that!
I was talking to Troy (the team owner) at NJMP Thunderbolt a couple weeks ago, when they were competing there. He's really excited about the program, and a super guy to talk to.
For anybody in Florida who wants to get a good look at the car, they were telling me that they hope to display the car at the Flagler County Corvette Club's show, in Flager Beach on October 7th. An old friend of mine belongs to the club, and he was telling me that the team and club have sort of adopted each other.
